Admin & Accounts Officer

📍 Work Location: Toa Payoh

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Admin & Accounts Officer to support the daily operations of our centre.

Key Responsibilities

Administration

  • Receive, record, and issue receipts for school fees, donations, and other income (including GIRO payments).
  • Maintain accurate school fee records and prepare monthly reports for the Centre Head.
  • Follow up on outstanding fees and issue reminder letters where necessary.
  • Handle petty cash, payment vouchers, banking duties, and office supplies procurement.
  • Track staff attendance, leave, and training records, and assist with staff onboarding.
  • Provide general administrative support, including answering calls, managing mail, and supporting centre events.
  • Coordinate staff welfare matters and ensure compliance with NEA ESR requirements.

Accounting

  • Prepare monthly management reports.
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors.
  • Process supplier payments and staff expense claims.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and Means Test applications.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting regulations.

Requirements

  • Relevant administrative and/or accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Meticulous, organised, and able to multitask.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
