Company Reviews

Greenfield Development Corporation, or Greenfield for brevity, has become a moving force in the real estate industry, owing to its long history in real estate development, ranging from infrastructure, residential, industrial and recreational projects.

Founded in 1971, Greenfield began as a landholding company, with vast tracts of land in its portfolio. With more than 23-hectares of prime commercial property in Mandaluyong situated within the 110-hectare industrial quadrangle, Greenfield’s modest beginnings at commercial development began with what was then known as EDSA Crossing. In 1998, Greenfield ventured into another commercial center in the growth center of Santa Rosa with the development of Paseo Commercial Center. Greenfield also delved into residential developments, with Hillsborough Subdivision Muntinlupa City in 1988, Southwoods Residences, Carmona in 1994, Lexington Garden Village, Pasig City opened in 1997, San Antonio Heights and San Rafael Estates in Sto. Tomas, Batangas in 1998, and the 600-hectare Maunong property now known as Ayala Greenfield Estates developed in the year 1999.

Leisure developments as a natural adjunct to any high-end residential development was also a segment that Greenfield entered into for the Ayala Greenfield Golf Leisure Club in Ayala Greenfield Estates in 2005.

Greenfield has always endeavored to create value for its developments, and it ensured that its properties were unlocked via major infrastructure development and interchanges. With its vast landholdings in the south, it initially opened the Mamplasan exit in 1991, Cabuyao exit in 1992, Southwoods exit in 1994 and the ABI-Greenfield interchange in 2006. In 1998, it developed the Greenfield Auto Park (GAP), the catalyst for the development of the 300-hectare mixed-use Greenfield City Development. As a company, it is committed to providing world class Philippine communities to its customers whether in its residential, retail, office or industrial developments

Okay Pay, Benefits Could Be Better
Pros: The base salary for a Digital Marketing Specialist is decent. I started at $65k, which is competitive for Boston. They match 401k up to 3%, which is a solid perk for a mid-sized agency. It's a stable job in digital marketing.
Cons: Health insurance premiums are super high. Deductibles are also pretty tough to meet. Don't expect big annual raises; they're usually just cost-of-living. There's no real bonus structure beyond a small discretionary one.
Advice to Management: Revisit the health insurance plans. Lowering employee premiums or offering more options would be huge. Also, create a clearer path for salary increases and bonus opportunities for marketing roles.

Okay for a while, but job security is a concern
Pros: I've learned a lot about managing client accounts at this mid-sized agency. The remote work setup for digital marketing roles was super convenient, which was a huge plus for my work-life balance.
Cons: Honestly, job security isn't great, especially for those in lower-level SEO specialist roles. They seem to cycle through staff pretty fast when client budgets shift. It makes planning your future tough.
Advice to Management: Leadership needs to be more transparent about the agency's financial health. Also, invest in retaining talent for digital marketing roles instead of just replacing them.

Solid Experience for Early Career Marketers
Pros: The client base at this marketing agency is pretty stable, so as a Digital Marketing Specialist, I felt my role was generally secure. We always had work coming in for the Chicago office.
Cons: Job security feels more tied to client churn than anything. There isn't much room for growth, and when senior people leave, it makes you wonder about the long haul. This affects overall stability.
Advice to Management: Think about creating clearer career paths for your marketing team. It would help with retention and make people feel more secure about their future here.
