Pros: The team is supportive, which helped me learn about various DevOps tools. They also have a solid remote work-from-home policy. It's a pretty chill environment overall.
Cons: Career growth is definitely slow here, especially for entry-level tech roles. There wasn't a clear path for promotion or any real mentorship programs. I felt stuck after about a year.
Advice to Management: Please create clearer career ladders and invest in dedicated mentorship programs for junior staff. It would help a lot with retention for the software development team.

Pros: The salary for technical roles like mine was definitely competitive. Annual raises were consistently fair if you hit your goals. The health insurance was also pretty okay for a mid-sized tech company.
Cons: PTO felt a bit stingy, not great compared to industry standards. No 401k match at all, which is a big miss. Dental and vision plans were super basic, too.
Advice to Management: Seriously consider adding a 401k match. It's a dealbreaker for many. Also, a more robust PTO policy would help attract top talent for future IT operations roles.

Pros: Some of the team leads are genuinely supportive and understand the technical challenges. For a startup, they do try to keep the dev teams engaged, especially in terms of flexible hours for us remote employees.
Cons: Upper management communication feels very disconnected. There's a real lack of clear vision from the top, which makes it tough for engineering roles. It's hard to get clear answers on project priorities, and feedback loops are slow.
Advice to Management: Work on improving communication channels from the executive team down. Provide clearer roadmaps and strategic direction for engineering leadership to follow. Regular 1-on-1s for managers need better structure.
