Decent Benefits, Base Pay Could Be Better
Pros: I liked the overall benefits package. The health insurance and pension contributions were pretty good for a company in cybersecurity distribution. Plus, there's a good hybrid work model, which helps with flexibility.
Cons: The base pay for an Account Manager role isn't super competitive, especially in a city like London. Commission structure felt a bit opaque sometimes, making it tough to really understand the total compensation picture. I think they could do more for salary reviews.
Advice to Management: Review the base salaries for key roles, especially in competitive markets like London. Make the commission and bonus structures clearer for sales teams.

Culture is okay, depends on your team
Pros: Working as a Channel Account Manager here, I've found my immediate team to be really supportive. There's good camaraderie, which helps a lot with complex IT distribution projects. People are generally helpful if you reach out.
Cons: The overall company culture can feel a bit fragmented sometimes, especially with the hybrid work model in the London, UK office. Some departments are pretty siloed, making cross-collaboration tougher than it should be. It's not always easy to get a feel for the wider company.
Advice to Management: Try to foster more cross-departmental interaction and activities. This would really help with cohesion, especially for those of us on hybrid schedules.

Sales Engineer

Hybrid model is decent, but can vary
Pros: I appreciate the option to work from home a couple of days a week, which is a solid perk for many tech sales roles. It helps manage the commute for those of us in the cybersecurity distribution space. There's some trust in getting your work done remotely.
Cons: It's tough when 'hybrid' still means frequent calls to be in the London office for impromptu meetings, especially for a Sales Engineer. This isn't always clear and can disrupt plans. Sometimes you feel pressured to be onsite even on WFH days.
Advice to Management: Clarify the hybrid policy more consistently, especially for Sales Engineer roles. Make sure WFH days are respected and not constantly interrupted with mandatory onsite requests.
