Job Summary
Responsible for supporting IT operations across Microsoft SharePoint, Active Directory, AI adoption initiatives, and automation scripting activities. Contributes to the maintenance, enhancement, and reliability of core collaboration and identity management services while supporting process automation and productivity improvements. Works closely with IT teams to deliver operational support, documentation, and continuous improvement, while developing technical skills through structured learning and mentorship.
The Day-To-Day Activities
- Support day-to-day operations of Microsoft SharePoint, including site configuration, content updates, user access management, and troubleshooting.
- Support Microsoft Active Directory operations, including user administration, access provisioning, and domain management activities.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing AI tools, including proof-of-concept initiatives and documentation of use cases to improve productivity.
- Develop and maintain basic automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to streamline IT processes and reduce manual effort.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and provide operational support to end users and team members.
- Continuously develop technical skills in collaboration platforms, cloud technologies, AI tools, and automation to support team and organizational goals.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft technologies (e.g.,SharePoint, Office 365, Teams).
- Awareness of scripting/programming languages (e.g.,PowerShell, Python, or equivalent).
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Interest in AI tools, machine learning concepts, and automation.
- Completed academic projects related to IT, cloud, or automation.
- Exposure to collaboration platforms such as Microsoft365 and cloud solutions.
- Participated in coding, automation, or AI-related coursework, hackathons, or research projects.
- Experience using cloud services during studies or internships is an added advantage.
- Manage and support SharePoint operations (content, permissions, troubleshooting).
- Assist in adoption of AI tools and contribute to proof-of concepts.
- Develop and enhance automation scripts to streamline IT processes.
- Support cloud FinOps operations: monitoring, reporting and cost optimization.
- Learn and apply new technologies quickly in a dynamic IT environment.
- Document processes, workflows, and improvements for knowledge sharing.
