Decent Benefits, Salary Needs Work
Pros: The health insurance for my family was pretty solid. I also liked the unlimited PTO policy, it felt generous for a big tech company. The overall benefit package isn't bad.
Cons: For a Software Engineer, the base salary just isn't competitive with other companies. Bonuses are usually pretty small, too. You won't get rich working remote from Texas on this comp.
Advice to Management: Seriously review the salary bands for all technical roles. You're losing good people to competitors who pay market rate. Competitive compensation is key for retention.

Decent Base Pay, Benefits Are Just Okay
Pros: As a Software Engineer working remote from Texas, the base salary was pretty decent, especially for non-senior roles. The health insurance package is solid, no real complaints there.
Cons: However, the 401k match isn't great compared to other big tech companies. I felt like the overall compensation package, including stock options, just wasn't very competitive for my experience level. Raises were also pretty minimal.
Advice to Management: Review the compensation strategy, especially for experienced engineering roles. Boost the 401k match to be competitive with the broader tech industry. Better stock options could really help with retention.
