Good Hybrid Setup for Recruitment Pros
Pros: As a Recruitment Consultant, I've really appreciated the hybrid work model. It's great to have the option to WFH a few days, especially working in the fast-paced staffing industry. The office in Minneapolis, MN is good when you need face-time too.
Cons: Sometimes the 'flexibility' depends on your manager, which can be annoying. There's pressure to be in the office more often during busy times, even with the hybrid policy. It's not always consistent across teams.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize the hybrid policy across all teams. It would help a lot with consistency and overall employee morale regarding work-life balance.

Solid Base Pay, Benefits Need Work
Pros: The base salary for a Technical Recruiter here is pretty competitive, especially compared to other firms in the recruitment industry. I've found the 401k match to be a decent perk too, which is always good.
Cons: Health insurance costs are a bit steep for a mid-sized firm, making it less attractive than it should be. The commission structure can also be confusing and payouts aren't always super clear.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the health insurance plans to offer more affordable options. Also, make the commission structure more transparent and easier to understand for all employees in staffing solutions.

Leadership is a mixed bag, depends on your team
Pros: My direct manager in the Dallas office was generally good, especially for someone in IT recruiting. They really tried to help us hit our numbers. It's a solid place to learn the staffing industry.
Cons: Upper leadership can feel pretty disconnected sometimes. There's not always clear communication from the top. It felt like some teams got better support than others, creating an uneven experience for us in a hybrid model.
Advice to Management: Invest more in leadership training across all levels, not just entry-level managers. Ensure consistent messaging and support for everyone, especially for teams working under the hybrid model.
