Company Reviews

Ninja Van Group is a tech-enabled logistics organisation, backed by marquee investors including GeoPost, Alibaba Group, and B Capital Group.

Launched in 2014 as an e-commerce express logistics company, it reached 100% network coverage by 2018 with over 2,000 stations and hubs across Southeast Asia. Today, around two million parcels course through its network daily.

A decade of operations fortified Ninja Van Group’s e-commerce express network, enabling concurrent diversification across the realms of e-commerce and express logistics.

To maximise its scale in e-commerce, Ninja Van Group offers a comprehensive suite of solutions – from digital to full-funnel marketing – to help shippers sell better.

As a springboard for expansion beyond e-commerce, Ninja Van Group's e-commerce express network lays the groundwork for venturing into other express verticals, including business-to-business inventory restocking and cold chain.

Flexibility is okay, but has limits
Pros: I've been able to occasionally adjust my start time as a Logistics Coordinator, which helps with personal appointments. There's a decent push for hybrid work options for some non-operations roles, which is good. It's not a strict 9-to-5 always.
Cons: For actual logistics roles, true work flexibility is tough. You're often tied to delivery routes and the daily rush of ecommerce shipping. Remote work isn't really an option for many of us, you're expected onsite more often than not.
Advice to Management: Management should clearly define what 'flexibility' means for different departments, especially for operational roles in a logistics company. Don't promise what you can't deliver across the board.

Growth is Possible, but You Need to Push Hard
Pros: As a Logistics Coordinator, I've seen folks move up. If you're proactive and speak up, there are opportunities to take on new projects, especially within the Singapore office. You get decent exposure to the entire e-commerce logistics process.
Cons: Career growth isn't structured. You won't find clear promotion paths, especially for operations roles. It's tough to get formal training; most learning is on the job. You really have to hustle to get noticed in this startup environment.
Advice to Management: Establish clearer career progression frameworks for different roles, especially in operations. Provide more access to training and development programs to help employees upskill without constant self-advocacy.

Flexibility Varies by Role, Mostly Hybrid
Pros: Some *corporate roles* at this *logistics tech* company get pretty good *hybrid work* options. It's nice to have a couple *WFH days* a week when you're in the *Singapore office*. For a fast-paced *startup*, that's decent.
Cons: But for *field operations* roles or *delivery drivers*, forget about it; your schedule is pretty rigid. There isn't much *flexibility* if you're directly involved in the *supply chain* movement. Expect long days, especially during peak seasons.
