Pros: The benefits were decent, especially for health insurance. As a junior software engineer, I got to work on some interesting ERP software modules and learned a ton. The hybrid work model was also a plus, giving some flexibility.
Cons: Career growth just isn't there for technical roles after a certain point. It's really tough to move up, even with solid performance. Promotions feel like they're based more on who you know or just waiting for someone to leave, not actual merit or a clear path.
Advice to Management: Management needs to develop clear, transparent career paths and promotion criteria, especially for engineering and other technical roles. Give people a reason to stay and grow internally instead of having to leave to advance.
