Pros: The remote policy is solid, which really helps with personal life. As a Software Engineer, I could usually shape my day around my needs. PTO is decent too; it's a perk of this mid-sized company.
Cons: Sometimes, deadlines for our Microsoft 365 cloud solutions projects get wild. You'll find yourself logging on after hours, especially closer to release dates. The expectation for quick turnarounds on client issues can definitely eat into your evenings.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project scopes for the development teams. Empower us to push back on unrealistic client demands more often to prevent burnout.
