Marketing Executive

Decent Flexibility, But Room for Improvement
Pros: As a Marketing Executive, the hybrid work model is pretty solid here. We're in the Kuala Lumpur office three days a week. That structured approach helps with planning and still offers some flexibility.
Cons: Real work flexibility beyond the hybrid setup is tough to get. You can't just pick your in-office days freely. It feels a bit rigid for a corporate environment that could be more modern.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more options for truly flexible hours or fully remote positions for certain roles, especially given the industry shift. Trusting employees more with their schedules could really boost morale.

Leadership is learning, but sometimes tough
Pros: Some senior folks are really invested. As a Software Engineer, I've seen decent mentorship on complex coding challenges. The team leads in our Kuala Lumpur office try their best.
Cons: Communication from upper management can be a black box. Decisions often feel top-down, which makes it hard for mid-level staff to feel heard. We don't always get clear direction in our agile environment.
Advice to Management: Focus on transparent communication and involve team leads more in strategic decisions. Give more context behind changes, especially in our software development teams.

Project Coordinator

Okay Work-Life, But It's a Balancing Act
Pros: Honestly, the work-life balance is okay most of the time. We get to use a hybrid work model, which is a real plus. It means I don't have to be in the Kuala Lumpur office five days a week, which helps a lot with errands and stuff.
Cons: But it can totally swing when projects heat up. For Project Coordinator roles, you're on the hook for deadlines, and that often means logging extra hours. It's just how the IT solutions industry can be sometimes, which isn't ideal.
Advice to Management: Try to provide more resources for Project Coordinator roles during peak periods to help balance the workload. Encourage teams to truly disconnect after hours to prevent burnout, especially in the IT solutions industry.
