Stable if you like the routine at Carrier

Carrier offers strong job security and a steady environment if you're okay with slower career progression. Good for stability in the HVAC industry.


Pros

Job security is pretty solid here, especially as an Associate Mechanical Engineer. It's a huge, established company in building technology, so they don't do massive layoffs often. The benefits package is decent too.


Cons

Career growth can feel really slow; you're often stuck waiting for someone to retire. The corporate environment can be bureaucratic and resistant to new ideas. Work-life balance isn't always great, especially during project crunch times in the Syracuse, NY office.


Advice to Management

Try to create clearer paths for career advancement and promote innovation more actively. Listen to the younger engineers and their ideas.
