Decent pay, but work-life balance is a struggle
Pros: The compensation package is solid if you hit your targets as a Recruitment Consultant. There's good exposure to various industries in the professional services sector. My team was pretty supportive and helped with onboarding.
Cons: Work-life balance can be a real struggle, especially during peak hiring seasons. I often worked more than 50 hours a week, and it's mostly an onsite role in the Singapore office. Expect late nights to meet client demands.
Advice to Management: Try to implement clearer boundaries for working hours, especially for junior recruitment consultants. More support for managing client expectations could help improve employee well-being.

Pretty Solid for IT Consulting Job Security
Pros: Job security is actually pretty good here, especially for IT consultant roles. They've got a steady stream of client projects in Singapore, so there's usually something lined up. You don't have to stress too much about sudden layoffs, which is nice in the professional services industry.
Cons: While there's job security, career growth isn't always clear-cut. It's project-based, so you might feel stuck if you're looking for internal promotions at this corporate firm. The pay and benefits are just okay, not top-tier for Singapore's tech market.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clearer career paths for long-term consultants. It would really help with retaining talent if there were more internal opportunities beyond just project hopping.

Pay is okay, but benefits need work
Pros: The base salary as an Associate Consultant in the Singapore office was pretty solid for someone starting out in professional services. There's also a quarterly bonus structure that can add a nice bump to your income if targets are hit.
Cons: The benefits package isn't great; health insurance coverage felt pretty basic compared to other mid-sized firms. Also, annual raises don't happen automatically; you really have to advocate for yourself during performance reviews.
Advice to Management: Review the overall benefits package, especially health coverage and retirement contributions. Make the salary review process more transparent and proactive for all professional services roles.
