Pros: The team is generally good and supportive. I've found a lot of help from my direct colleagues, especially being a Field Service Engineer. There's a decent sense of purpose working in the cleantech industry.
Cons: It feels very corporate and a bit slow with decisions. There isn't much recognition for extra effort, and sometimes it's tough to feel connected working remote from Houston. The overall culture can feel a bit stagnant.
Advice to Management: Management needs to focus on empowering teams and improving recognition programs. Open up communication channels more, especially for remote employees, to foster better engagement.

Pros: I really enjoyed the work itself, focusing on wastewater treatment and ballast water systems. The team was generally supportive, and working remote from Florida gave me good flexibility. The core mission for marine environmental solutions is genuinely impactful.
Cons: Leadership struggles with clear direction. Decisions often felt arbitrary, and there wasn't much transparency. It's tough when you don't feel heard, especially as an Environmental Systems Engineer trying to implement new solutions. This corporate environment can feel slow-moving.
Advice to Management: Listen more to your ground-level engineers and be more transparent with your decisions. A clearer vision for the future, especially concerning technological shifts in wastewater treatment, would help a lot. Invest in leadership training for middle management too.
