Financial Advisor

Decent pay for a growing fintech company
Pros: The base salary for my Financial Advisor role was pretty decent, especially for a startup in Singapore. They've got a solid health insurance plan too. It's a nice perk to have in wealth management.
Cons: Bonuses are tough to hit, and the structure isn't super transparent. Don't expect huge raises yearly unless you really push for it. Pay increases aren't always competitive with bigger fintech players.
Advice to Management: Make the bonus structure clearer for Financial Advisors. Also, consider more regular, competitive pay reviews across all roles.

Fast-paced but work-life balance struggles
Pros: I learned a ton about wealth management and investment products here. The team in the Singapore office is sharp, and you get real ownership. Great if you're keen to grow fast in fintech.
Cons: Honestly, the work-life balance isn't great, especially as a Financial Advisor. You're looking at 50-60 hour weeks often. It's tough to keep up with personal stuff when client calls stretch late.
Advice to Management: Consider clearer boundaries for working hours and support staff with managing client expectations to improve overall work-life balance.

Decent place for a FinTech startup, but demanding
Pros: You'll learn a ton, especially for Associate Product Manager roles in wealth management. The team is usually super supportive. The Singapore office has a pretty solid vibe among colleagues.
Cons: Work-life balance can be tough at this FinTech startup. Expect long hours, it's pretty common to be working past 7 PM. The company culture sometimes feels very top-down, with less input from junior staff.
Advice to Management: Try to promote a culture where employee input is genuinely valued at all levels, not just from the top. Also, consider setting clearer boundaries to help with work-life balance for all roles in this FinTech space.

Investment Analyst

Decent for a FinTech, but expect some crunch.
Pros: I appreciated the hybrid work model they offer, which gives some flexibility. For Investment Analyst roles, the team is pretty collaborative, which helps when things get busy. There are times when it feels pretty balanced.
Cons: However, it's a startup in the FinTech industry, so long hours are definitely a thing, especially during reporting cycles. It's not uncommon to put in 50+ hour weeks, which really impacts your personal time. You've got to be ready for that.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage workloads during peak times to prevent burnout, especially for core wealth management teams.

Wealth Operations Associate

Decent flexibility for a growing fintech startup
Pros: I liked the hybrid model, it gave some freedom. Working from the Singapore office a few days a week was good for collaboration. As a Wealth Operations Associate, I got to work on lots of different things and learn fast.
Cons: While there's a hybrid model, true work flexibility can be tough sometimes. Projects often need quick turnarounds, which means less control over your schedule. It's typical for a fintech startup; expect to work beyond typical hours often.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project scopes to avoid constant fire drills. This would really help with work-life balance and improve work flexibility for everyone.
