Position Overview
The Software QA Tester Intern will assist in ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications through testing and documentation. The intern will work closely with the development team in identifying bugs, verifying system performance, and supporting overall quality assurance processes.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of software applications and systems
- Identify, document, and report software bugs and issues
- Assist in creating and updating test cases and test documentation
- Verify fixes and conduct regression testing
- Coordinate with developers regarding system errors and improvements
- Help ensure software quality standards and functionality requirements are met
- Participate in system checking, troubleshooting, and QA-related activities
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled and taking up a Programming, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Electronics Engineering course
- Minimum of 500 internship hours required or willing to extend internship hours
- Allowed and willing to render on-site internship
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and meticulous in work
- Available full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (with no other enrolled subjects)
- Amenable to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig City
- Can start immediately
