Decent Flexibility, But Can Be Inconsistent

Eiger Support Systems has some decent flexibility, especially with its hybrid model, but it's not consistent and can be hard to get full remote approval.


Pros

I've seen some good flexibility, especially with the hybrid work model. As a Technical Support Specialist, working from home a few days helps a lot. It makes balancing personal stuff much easier.


Cons

It's not the same for everyone; some teams get way less flexibility. For software support roles, getting full remote approval is tough, even if your job can be done from anywhere. You're expected in the Austin, TX office often.


Advice to Management

Try to standardize flexibility policies across all departments. Trust employees more with remote work options, especially for roles like technical support that don't always need to be in the office.
