Leadership is a mixed bag here
Pros: For an IT Support Specialist, the team is really supportive, and you learn a lot about various IT solutions. There's good job security too, especially if you're working onsite in Manila.
Cons: Leadership often seems disconnected from daily operations. They don't always listen to feedback from the ground level, which can be frustrating. Decision-making can feel slow and bureaucratic.
Advice to Management: Listen more to your frontline IT Support Specialists. Improve communication and decision-making processes. Be more transparent with company goals.

Culture is okay, but team can feel isolated.
Pros: The team here, especially within the software development department, is pretty solid. Everyone helps each other out when you're stuck on a tricky IT solution. You get a sense of camaraderie in the Manila office, which is a big plus.
Cons: Work-life balance here isn't great, especially for a Junior Software Engineer. There's often pressure to work late, which impacts personal time. Communication from management about company goals feels a bit lacking too.
Advice to Management: Leadership should really focus on improving work-life balance and setting clearer expectations. Better communication from the top would help foster a more positive overall company culture.

Decent place, but pay could be better
Pros: They offer a pretty solid benefits package for a mid-sized corporate setup, which is nice. Health insurance kicks in fast, and there are some decent team events. As a Junior Software Engineer, I felt like I learned a lot here.
Cons: The base salary for my Junior Software Engineer role felt low, especially for the Manila IT solutions market. Raises were super rare, and bonuses weren't guaranteed. It's hard to feel properly compensated.
Advice to Management: Really look at the market rates for IT solutions professionals in Manila. Better base salaries would help a lot with retention for your key roles.

Okay balance, but watch the deadlines.
Pros: I've been able to enjoy the hybrid work setup. It helps a lot as a Software Engineer. Colleagues are generally supportive, which makes the daily grind easier.
Cons: Project demands in this IT services industry often mean longer hours. Sometimes you're stuck doing overtime, especially with tight deadlines for clients in the Quezon City office. Full remote isn't really an option for my team.
Advice to Management: Try to manage client expectations better so teams aren't always scrambling. More predictable workloads would really help.

Leadership has its moments, some good, some not.
Pros: Upper management often pushes for innovation, which is great for software development. There are also clear project goals sometimes, especially in client-facing roles, which helps a lot.
Cons: Communication from the top could be much better; sometimes new directives come out of nowhere. As an IT Consultant, I felt disconnected from key decisions, and there's not always a clear career path laid out.
Advice to Management: Try to improve communication channels, especially for teams working on different IT solutions projects. A more transparent career growth framework for IT Consultants would also be really beneficial for retention in the Makati City office.

Decent Culture, But Needs Some Work
Pros: The team in the Manila office is pretty solid. We often have regular team lunches, which really helps the vibe. I also appreciate the hybrid work option; it's a huge plus for balancing life in the IT consulting industry.
Cons: Sometimes, it feels like upper management is a bit out of touch with daily operations. Communication can be slow, which is tough when you're working on new tech solutions. Also, career growth as a Software Developer isn't always super clear here.
Advice to Management: Leadership needs to step up communication. Make sure there are clear growth paths for technical roles like Software Developers. It would really help morale.
