Claims Processor

Pay's okay, but benefits could be better
Pros: You do get good health insurance, which is expected for a company in the insurance benefits space. The 401k match is pretty solid after a year. It's a big corporate company, so there's some stability.
Cons: The base salary for a Claims Processor isn't super competitive for the market. Yearly raises were pretty small, and dental and vision benefits aren't great either. Don't expect huge bonuses here.
Advice to Management: Really look at the compensation for entry-level roles across the healthcare industry. Better dental and vision benefits would go a long way for employees in the Indianapolis office.

Solid Job Security for a Corporate Gig
Pros: If you're looking for stability, especially as a Data Analyst in the healthcare industry, Anthem Group is pretty good. It's a big corporate, so layoffs aren't super common here. The hybrid work option from the Indianapolis office also helps with work-life balance.
Cons: Growth can be really slow for many data roles. You often feel stuck in your lane, not much room to learn new tech outside your specific projects. Pay raises don't keep up with inflation, which is a bummer.
Advice to Management: Management needs to invest more in career development and internal mobility programs for data and analytics teams. It would really help retain talent.
