There is a strange gap opening in the market.

Large tech companies are hiring internal AI automation engineers. Smaller and mid-market businesses are being told to "use AI", but they don't have the team to make it happen.

Zaigo was built for that gap.

We help owner-led and mid-market companies become AI-enabled without hiring an internal AI department. Our clients are usually $10M to $250M revenue companies in industries where the work is real, the data is scattered, and the processes have been held together by smart people doing whatever it takes.

We come in as the outsourced AI team. We sit with operators, map the process, identify where agents can safely take on work, connect the data, build the system, and keep improving it after launch.

This can look like an AI knowledge platform over years of internal files. Or a tool that reviews client decks against firm rules. Or a payroll workflow that turns ugly source files into clean uploads. Or a dashboard that gives leaders the view they have wanted for years.

The point is not to experiment with AI. The point is to move work.

Pay is alright, but don't expect big extras
Pros: For tech roles in Chennai, the base pay for a Software Engineer is pretty decent. You get your standard health benefits, which is a good thing for sure.
Cons: Annual raises are really small, sometimes you barely notice them. Don't count on much in terms of bonuses or other financial perks, it's pretty barebones compared to big tech.
Advice to Management: Consider increasing annual raises and investing in more employee perks to boost morale and retention, especially for experienced Software Engineers.
