Pros: As a High School Teacher, the base salary here in Pasig City is actually pretty competitive compared to other international schools in the area. They do offer basic health insurance, which is a good starting point for employees. You also get paid on time, always, which isn't a given everywhere.
Cons: The health benefits package isn't very comprehensive, it barely covers much beyond emergencies. Don't expect huge raises or bonuses; it's mostly fixed for us educators. There isn't really much in terms of retirement planning or other long-term financial perks.
Advice to Management: Look into improving the comprehensive health benefits for staff; it'd make a big difference. Also, consider clearer paths for salary progression and potentially some sort of retirement contribution, especially for long-term employees.
