Pros: As a Software Engineer, the base salary is pretty solid here. GIGATECH offers competitive initial offers. The annual bonus structure is decent, which is a nice perk for a big tech company.
Cons: The benefits package really lags behind other big tech firms. Health insurance options aren't great, and PTO feels a bit stingy. For our Seattle office, it feels like they could do more.
Advice to Management: Seriously, look at the benefits package. Improve health insurance and increase PTO. It's what keeps good tech talent in the Seattle market.

Pros: Working as a Software Engineer in the Austin, TX office, I've really enjoyed the challenging projects. The hybrid work model is a huge plus, giving good flexibility.
Cons: My biggest gripe is with upper leadership; they often seem out of touch with what's happening on the ground for tech industry roles. It's hard to get clear decisions, and communication sometimes feels like an afterthought, creating roadblocks.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving internal communication from the top down. Really try to understand the daily challenges faced by individual contributor roles in the tech teams to provide better support and clear direction.
