Pros: The pay as a Research Scientist here isn't too bad, honestly. Especially for an onsite role in the Boston area, it's pretty competitive. Our 401k match is solid, and the health insurance plans are actually quite good for a mid-sized biotech firm.
Cons: Base salaries could really be bumped up, though. It's tough to feel like you're getting ahead when raises are so small. Bonuses for scientific contributions are almost non-existent too, which is a bummer for lab work.
