Decent for a startup, but career path unclear
Pros: I definitely learned a lot about running successful e-commerce marketing campaigns. You get hands-on experience quickly, which is great for digital marketing professionals just starting out. The team culture was mostly supportive, especially for collaborative projects.
Cons: Career growth here is pretty limited. There aren't clear promotion paths for junior digital marketers, and upward mobility isn't really a thing. It felt like I hit a ceiling after about a year in the New York City office.
Advice to Management: Try to create clearer career progression frameworks for employees, especially for digital marketing roles. More training opportunities and defined promotion criteria would really help retention.

Decent Team, But Agency Culture Can Be Tough
Pros: I liked working with my direct team; they were pretty supportive. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, I did get to work on some cool projects for big e-commerce clients. There's a decent sense of camaraderie when things aren't too stressful.
Cons: The work-life balance here isn't great, honestly. We often had to put in long hours, especially before big client deadlines. There isn't much focus on employee well-being, which makes the startup environment feel a bit draining over time.
Advice to Management: Try to implement more boundaries for work hours and genuinely encourage people to use their PTO. Burnout is real in the agency world.

Culture is okay, but it's a fast pace
Pros: I've learned a ton as a Digital Marketing Specialist here. The team in the Austin, TX office is usually collaborative and supportive. We get to work on cool projects for different clients.
Cons: The company culture can feel a bit cliquey sometimes. There's a lot of pressure, which makes work-life balance tough. It's a digital marketing agency, so expect long hours before client deadlines.
Advice to Management: Try to foster a more inclusive environment. Also, recognize that agency life is hard, and support employees with better boundaries during crunch times.
