Pay's okay for remote recruiters, benefits are solid.
Pros: The base salary for a Recruiter here is pretty competitive, especially working remote from home. I've seen worse in the talent acquisition industry. Health insurance is good, definitely a plus.
Cons: The bonus structure isn't great, feels like it's always shifting goalposts. And the 401k match? It's pretty low compared to other big tech companies.
Advice to Management: Revisit the bonus structure for recruiters. Make it clearer and more attainable. Also, consider increasing the 401k match to stay competitive with other companies in the big tech space.

Decent Benefits, Salary Lags Behind
Pros: The health benefits here are pretty solid, especially for a big tech company. The 401k match is also decent, which is nice. For entry-level talent acquisition roles, it's an okay start.
Cons: Salaries just aren't keeping up with the market, honestly. Annual raises are super small, barely beating inflation. Don't expect huge bonuses for global talent acquisition work.
Advice to Management: Please re-evaluate the compensation structure for all roles. Competitive salaries are crucial to retain good talent, especially in this market. The current annual raise percentage is just not enough.

Solid Benefits, Pay Could Improve for Recruiters
Pros: The health insurance is actually pretty good, which is a big plus. They also have a decent 401k match, which is helpful for long-term planning. It's nice working remote as a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Cons: Base salary for recruiting roles isn't super competitive, especially compared to big tech. The commission structure can be tough to hit targets sometimes. It's not bad, but it's not going to make you rich in the talent industry.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the base salaries for Talent Acquisition Specialists. A more aggressive commission plan could also boost morale and retention.

Okay WFH Balance, Can Get Busy
Pros: I really liked the flexibility of working remote from home. As a Recruitment Coordinator, I didn't have to commute, which saved a ton of time. Most weeks are pretty standard 40-hour weeks, which is decent for corporate recruiting.
Cons: The work-life balance here can get tricky sometimes. There are definitely periods where I'm logging 50+ hour weeks, especially around hiring pushes. It's tough to fully disconnect when you're dealing with global time zones.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage workload distribution, especially for those in global talent acquisition roles. Clearer communication on peak periods could also help us plan better.

Remote is good, but career growth stalls
Pros: The remote work flexibility is really solid for my Talent Acquisition Specialist role. I've been able to maintain a good work-life balance from home. Pay is decent for a corporate recruiting job.
Cons: Career growth is pretty much non-existent here. There's no clear path to move up, even if you're a high performer in global talent acquisition. It can feel like you're just stuck in the same spot with no new challenges.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clear progression paths for employees. Invest in training and development opportunities for the recruitment team to foster real career growth instead of just lateral moves.
