BPO Agent

Remote BPO Work is Decent, But Busy
Pros: The best part about One Outsource is the remote flexibility. As a BPO Agent, I could work from home, which was a huge plus for my daily commute. They often offer overtime, which helps boost your pay when you need extra cash.
Cons: Work-life balance can be tough for BPO roles, especially during peak seasons. You're expected to hit metrics and sometimes the shifts are long and inflexible. It's not uncommon to work 45-50 hour weeks, which wears you down over time.
Advice to Management: Try to provide more consistent staffing to avoid burnout during busy periods. Better tools for remote BPO agents would also help a lot.

Customer Service Representative

Growth is tough here for BPO roles
Pros: The team members are solid, and the onsite environment in the Manila office is generally fine. You get good experience dealing with various client accounts, which builds basic customer service skills. It's a stable job if you're looking for consistent work in the Business Process Outsourcing industry.
Cons: Career growth for Customer Service Representatives is really slow; internal promotions are pretty rare. There's not much structured training for advancing your skills beyond the immediate job requirements. It feels like a dead end after a while, especially in this mid-sized corporate setup, without clear paths up.
Advice to Management: Create clearer pathways for career advancement and offer more training programs for employees who want to move up. Recognize and promote talent from within, especially for those in entry-level BPO roles.
