Pros: It's a good place to learn a lot about the core digital health platform. As a Software Engineer, I got to really own my features end-to-end. The remote work setup is super flexible too, which is great for work-life balance.
Cons: Career growth here is definitely a challenge for healthcare IT roles. There's not much clear path upward, and internal promotions are rare. Also, the budget for outside training or conferences is pretty limited, which hurts skill development.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clear career ladders for all roles. Invest more in employee development and mentorship programs. This would really boost morale and retention, especially for the engineers working remotely.
