Work Flexibility is Okay, But It Varies
It's a big outsourcing services company. For a Data Analyst like me, the work flexibility was okay, but it definitely varied a lot by team and role. Not as consistent as I hoped.
My specific Data Analyst role sometimes allowed a hybrid work model. Being able to do a few WFH days a week was a solid plus, especially with the crazy Manila traffic. It's a lifesaver in the BPO industry.
The biggest issue is the inconsistency. Other teams, even in the same department, might be fully onsite. Also, the WFH policy can change without much notice, which makes it hard to plan your life. It's tough when you're suddenly asked to come into the office more.
Try to standardize the work flexibility policies across teams. It's frustrating when some roles get WFH and others don't, especially for similar output. More transparency on policy changes would really help people out.
