Decent place for BPO, but culture needs work
Pros: It's a solid entry point for new graduates, especially for BPO roles. You learn a lot about corporate operations quickly. The team members themselves are usually very supportive, you'll make good friends here.
Cons: The overall company culture can feel really corporate and impersonal. There's often a lack of recognition for hard work, especially for frontline Process Executive teams. Management can be quite rigid, not much room for independent thinking.
Advice to Management: Try to foster a more inclusive and appreciative culture. Recognize individual efforts more often, especially for frontline Process Executive teams in the Manila office. This would really boost morale.

Okay Place to Start, Culture is Mixed
Pros: It's a good place for new grads in the BPM industry to get started. You learn a lot about different client accounts. Some teams in the Manila office have really supportive colleagues, which helps a lot. They do offer some work from home options for specific customer service roles, which is a plus.
Cons: The overall corporate culture can feel pretty cold sometimes. There's not much emphasis on team-building outside of your immediate group. Management styles vary wildly, and you often feel like just a number in such a large BPO. It's hard to feel connected to the bigger picture.
Advice to Management: Focus on empowering team leads and fostering a more inclusive environment across different client accounts. Invest more in local employee engagement initiatives, especially for onsite teams. Try to make it feel less like a big corporate machine for employees.

Decent first job, but some uncertainty
Pros: As a Client Support Specialist here, you feel pretty secure if your project is stable. The BPO industry always needs good talent, so there's usually another project if one ends. It's a solid place for entry-level roles to get their foot in the door.
Cons: Job security can feel a bit shaky if your project's client decides to pull out or downsize. In this large corporate setting, sometimes project transfers happen pretty suddenly. You don't always know what's coming next, which can be tough.
Advice to Management: Try to communicate project changes and potential impacts on roles much earlier. More transparency around client contract stability would really help employees feel more secure.

Pay and Benefits are Just Okay Here
Pros: The HMO benefits are pretty solid; you get coverage right away. For a role as a Process Associate in the BPO industry, the base pay isn't terrible to start, it's pretty decent for fresh grads.
Cons: Salary increases are super slow, almost non-existent sometimes. It's tough to get promoted with a good pay bump. The bonus structure isn't very clear and usually feels too small to make a real difference for WFH or hybrid teams.
Advice to Management: Review the compensation structure, especially for tenured Process Associate roles. Competitive pay is key for retention in the Taguig City BPO market.

Career growth is tough in this corporate setup
Pros: It's a good entry point if you're new to the BPO industry. As a Customer Service Representative, you learn a lot about customer service outsourcing. Plus, it's stable for onsite work in Taguig City.
Cons: Career growth is really slow here; internal promotions feel rare. You often get stuck in the same position for years. Moving to proper IT services roles from BPO is a huge jump that Infosys BPM doesn't really support.
Advice to Management: Consider clearer paths for internal career progression, especially for BPO staff looking to transition into more technical or IT services positions. Invest in training and mentorship programs.

Solid start, but career growth is tough here.
Pros: It's a decent place for your first job, especially as a Process Executive in the BPO industry. You get solid initial training and the environment is generally stable. Colleagues are usually friendly and helpful too.
Cons: Career growth here is definitely slow, I can't lie. Moving up the corporate ladder felt almost impossible for IT services roles. There aren't many clear promotion paths, and internal opportunities are scarce. You feel stuck after a while.
Advice to Management: Management should create clearer pathways for promotion within different departments. It's tough to see a future here when there's no visible next step, especially for those in entry-level Process Executive roles.

Decent WFH, but schedule is pretty rigid
Pros: For some Process Executive roles, they offer work-from-home options, which is a huge plus in the BPO industry. It definitely helps avoid the crazy traffic in Taguig City and can improve overall work-life balance.
Cons: The actual shift schedule isn't flexible at all once it's set. Swapping shifts as a Process Executive is really tough, and you can't easily adjust your start or end times, even with manager approval. It's a very fixed schedule.
Advice to Management: Try to introduce more flexibility into the daily schedules for Process Executives. Even small changes, like allowing occasional shift adjustments, would make a big difference for employee morale and retention in the BPO sector.

WFH Helps, But Overtime is Common
Pros: The work-from-home setup for many BPM industry roles is a lifesaver, especially if you're located in Metro Manila. It really cuts down on commute time and gives you more personal hours. Plus, they usually stick to a pretty standard 8-hour workday.
Cons: Overtime often creeps in, especially when client demands spike. As a Customer Service Representative, it can be tough to just log off when calls are still coming in. Getting approved for leave can also be a challenge during peak season, which impacts your overall work-life balance.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage workloads and staffing to reduce mandatory overtime. Make the leave approval process more transparent and accessible.

Okay Culture, Needs More Modern Thinking
Pros: The best part is the team. Everyone's really supportive in the Taguig office, making onsite work better. You can learn a lot about business process management here.
Cons: But the culture can feel pretty old-school for a big corporate environment. It's hard to get new ideas heard, and there's not much push for innovation. As a Process Executive, I felt things were often too rigid.
Advice to Management: Management should really try to listen more to front-line employees and encourage innovation. Update some of the outdated processes to improve overall employee morale and make the corporate environment more dynamic. Focus on fostering a culture that embraces change, not just maintains status quo.

Work-Life Balance is a Real Struggle Here
Pros: The office in Taguig City is pretty modern and well-maintained. We get decent health benefits, which is a plus for a large corporate environment. There are some opportunities for internal training if you can find the time.
Cons: Work-life balance is not great, honestly. As a Process Executive, you're often dealing with unpredictable shift rotations and mandatory overtime, which really cuts into personal time. For most BPM roles, you're tethered to your desk with little flexibility.
Advice to Management: Try to stabilize shifts for employees; it would really help with planning. Also, consider more WFH options for roles that can support it.
