Okay for HR growth, but it's slow sometimes

Cons: Career growth can feel pretty limited here for some HR operations roles in the Chicago office. It seems like senior roles often go to external hires, not folks already here. There's not a clear path for advancement if you don't fit a specific mold.
Advice to Management: Invest more in developing existing employees for senior HR leadership roles. Create clearer career paths for HR professionals beyond just annual reviews, especially in areas like HR technology and people analytics.

Leadership is Okay, Room for Growth
Pros: I've learned a ton about the HR tech industry and human resources software implementation. The remote setup works great for me, especially working from Dallas. There's good work-life balance for an HR Analyst role.
Cons: Leadership can be inconsistent; sometimes decisions feel pretty top-down without much input. It's tough to get clear career growth paths here. Some of the middle management just isn't quite ready for their roles.
Advice to Management: Invest more in leadership training for mid-level managers. Create clearer pathways for career progression for all employees, especially for core HR roles like HR Analysts. More transparency in decision-making would also help.
