Pros: Working as a Sales Account Manager, I got good exposure to different product lines within the IT distribution industry. The company does offer some basic product training which helps. It's a decent place to learn how a distributor operates onsite from the Manila office.
Cons: Formal career paths aren't very clear for us sales folks. It's tough to see a clear promotion track, and a lot of senior roles go to outside hires. You often have to wait for someone to leave to move up, which is a slow process.
Advice to Management: Management should create clearer growth plans and promote more from within. Invest in skill development for existing employees, especially for our Sales Account Manager team.
