Pros: For a role like a Production Supervisor at the Batangas plant, there's some decent shift swapping if you plan ahead. Management usually tries to accommodate if it doesn't impact cement production schedules. You can usually get a few days off if you really need them, which is a big plus for onsite roles.
Cons: Work flexibility isn't really a thing for us on the production floor. You're expected to be present for your shift. It's tough to get any WFH even for administrative tasks for those of us in the heavy industry. Don't expect to leave early often.
Advice to Management: Look into more flexible options for administrative tasks, even for production staff. Small changes can make a big difference for morale.

Pros: There's good stability working for an established company in the cement production industry. People generally try to help each other out, which creates a decent atmosphere for onsite work. The benefits package is solid.
Cons: The company culture can be quite traditional, making it slow to adopt new ideas or changes. Sometimes it feels like there's a lot of micromanagement from leadership. Work-life balance isn't a huge focus, especially for roles like Process Engineer.
Advice to Management: Try to encourage more innovation and empower teams more. Modernize the approach to work-life balance for all employees.
