Pros: The base salary for a Technical Support Specialist is pretty competitive, especially since I'm remote. I think I got about $65k here, which is solid for the role. They do offer a good 401k match, which is a nice perk. It's easy to sign up for too.
Cons: Health benefits really aren't great; high deductibles make them tough to use. There aren't many options either. Annual raises are super small, barely keeping up with inflation. It's hard to feel like you're growing financially.
Advice to Management: Review health insurance plans and offer better, more affordable options. Also, consider more substantial annual raises for employees.

Pros: As an IT Consultant, I liked the stability when on a long-term client project. This mid-sized company usually has work in the IT services industry. The ability to work remote from home is a real bonus, too.
Cons: Job security can feel uncertain between projects for remote consultants. The client pipeline isn't always clear, which makes you worry about the next assignment. It's a tough spot when you're just waiting around.
Advice to Management: Management should really work on improving the visibility of future projects. It would help remote consultants feel more secure. Maybe create a bench program with clearer objectives too.

Pros: The hybrid model is a big plus; you get some WFH days which really helps. For technical roles like mine, the core hours are flexible enough to manage personal appointments in the Dallas office.
Cons: Project deadlines can be pretty intense, especially with client work in the tech industry. It's tough as a Software Engineer to avoid late nights when agile sprints get tight. There's not much downtime after big releases.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage client expectations and resource allocation. It would really help reduce the crunch times for engineering teams and improve overall work-life for employees.
