Pros: Aeven offers a pretty competitive base salary for Software Engineer roles, especially for a mid-sized tech company. The health insurance is actually quite good, which is a big plus. You'll get a decent 401k match too.
Cons: However, the bonus potential isn't really there; it's mostly fixed. Stock options are basically nonexistent for most employees, which stings a bit in the tech sector. PTO here in Seattle, WA feels a little stingy compared to competitors.
Advice to Management: Please consider improving the bonus structure and introducing some form of equity or stock options for long-term employee retention. Also, review PTO policies to be more competitive with other companies in the Seattle area.
