Okay for experience, but job security is a concern.

Overall, it's a decent place to learn and gain experience in commercial interior design. However, the lack of consistent job security for some roles can be a real worry.

Pros

You get to work on some really cool commercial interior design projects. It's a great place to build your portfolio as an Interior Designer, and you learn a lot quickly.

Cons

The job security here is pretty tough for some teams. There are frequent reorganizations, and it makes you feel like your role isn't always safe, especially in the Singapore office when project pipelines fluctuate.

Advice to Management

Focus on retaining talent and providing more clarity on long-term plans to improve job security for employees, especially in design roles. More transparency would help a lot.

Good experience, but job security is a concern.
Pros: I've learned a ton about commercial interior design, tackling big corporate projects in the Singapore office. It's a solid place for designers to build a strong portfolio and learn from experienced professionals.
Cons: Job security is a real worry here. When the project pipeline slows down, you feel the pressure as an Interior Designer. The pay isn't always great for the long hours we often work.
Advice to Management: Focus on retaining talent by providing clearer career paths and better job security, even when the project flow isn't booming. Invest in the core design team more.

Tough for work-life balance in design.
Pros: You get to work on some really interesting interior design projects for major clients. There's a decent team vibe, and the office in Singapore is pretty modern. They do try to offer some hybrid work options when things aren't too crazy.
Cons: For Architectural Designer roles, the deadlines are brutal. Expect to put in long hours regularly, often working late nights, especially when project phases overlap. Work-life balance here is definitely a struggle; it's hard to disconnect.
Advice to Management: Management needs to really look at resource allocation and project timelines. It feels like the design teams are always stretched too thin, leading to burnout. More realistic deadlines would help a lot.
