Pros: As a Software Engineer, the initial WFH policy was pretty solid. I appreciated being remote from California, it made my work-life balance manageable. They provide good equipment for working from home.
Cons: Lately, there's been a subtle push towards more hybrid work, even for fully remote roles. It's tough because many of us joined expecting full flexibility. Consistency across different HCM software project teams isn't always there.
Advice to Management: Management should communicate any changes to the WFH policy more clearly and consistently. Ensure all teams, especially for product development, adhere to the same flexibility guidelines. Don't backtrack on promises made to remote employees.
