Job Summary
Responsible for driving leasing performance at Sunway Wangsa Mall by achieving occupancy and revenue targets, curating a strong tenant mix, and securing new tenants. The role focuses on building and managing tenant relationships, negotiating lease terms, monitoring market trends, and ensuring smooth leasing operations. It also involves leading the leasing team, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and maintaining overall mall competitiveness and performance.
Job Descriptions
· Lead and execute leasing activities to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
· Plan and manage tenant mix and merchandising strategy to enhance mall positioning.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international tenants.
· Identify and secure new tenants to ensure business growth and continuity.
· Negotiate leasing terms, rental rates, and agreements in line with company targets.
· Manage tenant relationships, including handling enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and prepare relevant leasing reports.
· Track rental performance, including rent collection support and rebate monitoring.
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth leasing processes and execution.
·Ensure compliance with company policies and lead the leasing team to deliver tasks effectively.
·Any other duty as and when assigned from time to time.
Job Requirement
· Minimum Bachelor Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Property Management, Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or equivalent.
-Minimum 4 years of experience in Leasing.
· Able to read and interpret documents such as tenancy agreements, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Good grasp of leasing principles, including retail market and product offer development (malls/tenants).
· Excellent interpersonal skills, withabilityto effectively communicate and motivate via written media.
· Computer literate and competent in writing business letters and proposals.
· Possesses mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
· Able to read and interpret documents such as tenancy agreements, safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Effective communication and presentation skills.
