Career Path Is a Bit Flat Here
Pros: It's a pretty stable place if you're looking for job security in telecoms infrastructure. The team in the Kuala Lumpur office is generally helpful. You get decent exposure to existing ICT solutions, which is okay for foundational knowledge.
Cons: Career growth isn't really a thing for Network Engineer roles. There aren't many clear advancement opportunities, and internal promotions are rare. It feels like there's no real path to move up or specialize further in this mid-sized corporate environment.
Advice to Management: Management should work on creating defined career paths for technical roles. Offer more training or specialization tracks for Network Engineers. It would help retain talent if people saw a future here.
