Pros: I've learned a ton as a Project Engineer here. We get to work on some really big construction projects, which is awesome for experience. The team in the Kuala Lumpur office is usually pretty supportive.
Cons: But the work-life balance? It's often rough. Long hours are common, and you can't always avoid site work on weekends. It's tough to have a consistent personal life.
Advice to Management: Management really needs to address the workload for project engineers. We need better staffing and clearer boundaries on working hours, especially for weekend site work. It'd help a lot with burnout.
