Good culture, but job security is tricky
Pros: The team here is super collaborative. I learned a ton as a Junior Graphic Designer, working on some really cool projects in the graphic design industry. The hybrid work model is also a big plus for flexibility.
Cons: Job security feels pretty low, especially for project-based roles. Contracts can end suddenly, which makes long-term planning tough. There's not always a clear path to full-time conversion after a project wraps.
Advice to Management: Try to offer more clarity on future opportunities for project-based staff. It would help retain talent if there was a clearer path to full-time roles or at least more notice.

Culture Is Pretty Good, Work Can Be Intense
Pros: The team camaraderie is a huge plus here. Everyone helps out on creative projects, especially when deadlines hit. It really feels like a mid-sized agency with a tight-knit group. We have fun team lunches and social events.
Cons: Work-life balance can suffer sometimes in this agency environment. There's a lot of pressure, especially for Project Coordinator roles. Communication from upper management in the Atlanta office could be better. Sometimes it feels like information trickles down slowly.
Advice to Management: Focus on better transparency from the top. Help teams manage their workloads better so burnout isn't so common.

Pay's okay, benefits could be better
Pros: The work itself is really engaging, especially on those big commercial architecture projects. You get good experience quickly. The hybrid work schedule is also a decent perk, letting you balance office time and WFH.
Cons: Pay and benefits really fall short, especially for an Architectural Designer with a few years experience. My base salary felt low, and the health plan options weren't great compared to other firms in the AEC industry. It's tough when you're working 45-50 hour weeks and feel underpaid.
Advice to Management: Revisit the compensation structure for all design roles. Being competitive on pay would really help retain talent, especially for Architectural Designer positions in the Los Angeles office.
