Okay balance for a big corporate gig
Pros: As a Logistics Coordinator, the WFH setup was a huge plus for my work-life balance. I could easily manage personal appointments, which is great for a big corporate environment. The flexibility really helps avoid the daily commute grind.
Cons: Even with the remote work, there are definitely weeks in global logistics where the hours just pile up. You can end up working pretty late sometimes, especially with different time zones impacting client requests. It isn't always a strict 40-hour week.
Advice to Management: Try to ensure managers are mindful of time zones and don't push too much into late hours for remote employees. Maybe hire more staff to spread the load in key areas.

WFH flexibility is there, but watch core hours
Pros: I really appreciate the remote work setup here. Being able to work from home most days is great for a Supply Chain Analyst role. There's decent flexibility on daily start/end times outside of core meeting hours.
Cons: The biggest downside is coordinating with global teams across different time zones. It means some really early or late meetings. This isn't always ideal for true work-life balance in the global logistics space.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage global meeting schedules to alleviate the pressure of very early or late calls. Maybe rotate who takes the late slots among team members.

Solid Job Security in Global Logistics
Pros: It's a big, stable company. You feel pretty secure in your role here, especially in the core shipping and logistics functions. My team in the Copenhagen office always had plenty of work, so you don't worry about sudden cuts.
Cons: While job security is good, career growth for specific roles like Logistics Coordinator can feel slow. There isn't always clear advancement paths. It's a very corporate environment, so things move at a slower pace.
Advice to Management: Try to streamline internal processes to encourage quicker career progression for individual contributors. Foster more cross-departmental collaboration for innovation.
