Leadership needs a fresh perspective

Pros: You get decent benefits working for a government-linked corporation in Kuala Lumpur. As an Event Coordinator, I've learned a lot about large-scale stadium operations. Job security is pretty solid here.
Cons: Leadership can be very traditional and slow to adapt. New ideas from staff often get ignored, which is frustrating for those of us trying to improve event management. There's not much room for career growth if you're not in the "in crowd."
Advice to Management: Seriously consider feedback from onsite teams. Investing in modern event management tools and empowering staff would go a long way. Encourage a more open culture. Show more
