Decent Flexibility, But You Earn It
It's a busy job in the recruitment industry, but they do offer some modern perks. Not always easy to use them, though.
I appreciate the hybrid model for Recruitment Consultants here. It's nice to have a few WFH days per week, which really helps with the commute to the New York City office. This arrangement makes the agency life a bit more manageable.
While the option is there, actually taking advantage of the work flexibility can be tough. Client demands often mean you're on call, even on remote days. It feels like you always have to justify using your WFH days, which isn't ideal.
Encourage managers to truly support the flexible work policies. Don't make people feel guilty for working remotely when it's allowed by the company.
