Job Security is Okay, but Project Dependent
Pros: When the client projects are steady, job security feels pretty solid. Especially as a Junior Consultant, there's always something to learn in the Boston, MA office.
Cons: But it's tough when the project pipeline slows down. There's always that worry about being benched in the consulting industry. It's not ideal for long-term planning.
Advice to Management: Management needs to be more transparent about the project pipeline. It'd help a lot with employee morale and reduce anxiety for those in consulting roles.

Okay Work-Life for IT Consulting
Pros: I liked that there's flexibility with some remote work days each week. As a Junior Consultant, it really helped with avoiding the daily Dallas commute. They generally encourage you to take your PTO too, which is good.
Cons: The hours can get pretty long, especially when we're nearing client deadlines on those big IT consulting projects. It's tough to plan much outside of work during those crunch periods. Sometimes there's pressure to respond to emails after hours.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage client expectations and project scope. Encourage managers to truly disconnect after hours to set a better example for junior staff.
