Marketing Specialist

Leadership has some good points, but needs work.
Pros: My direct manager was really supportive, which was great for a Marketing Specialist. They genuinely cared about team development and offered good feedback. The team leads often tried to shield us from higher-up pressures.
Cons: Upper management often felt disconnected from daily operations. It's tough when strategic decisions don't align with what's actually happening on the ground for remote workers. There's a lack of clear vision from the top sometimes, which caused confusion.
Advice to Management: Higher-ups need to listen more to team leads and frontline employees. They should aim for more transparent communication and build a clearer strategic path for us in the corporate services industry.

Corporate Analyst

Pay's okay, but benefits could be better
Pros: They do have a pretty solid 401k match, which is good for long-term savings in a big corporate environment. Health insurance plans are decent, covering most major needs for my family.
Cons: Base salary for Corporate Analyst roles isn't competitive, especially in the Chicago market. Raises don't keep up with inflation, so it feels like you're falling behind annually.
Advice to Management: Review the current salary bands for Corporate Analyst positions and make them more competitive with industry standards. Consider increasing annual merit raise percentages.
