Pros: As a Supply Chain Analyst, my daily work isn't usually too crazy. I often stick to 40-45 hour weeks, which is solid for a large corporate environment. The hybrid model definitely helps with managing personal errands and reducing commute stress.
Cons: There are definitely times, especially around quarter ends or during peak commodities trading seasons, where things get really intense. You can't always avoid late nights then, and it's tough to truly disconnect. Sometimes, project timelines feel a bit unrealistic, impacting personal time.
Advice to Management: Try to set more realistic expectations for project deadlines, especially during busy periods in commodities trading. It would help a lot with employee burnout.

Pros: The hybrid model is a big plus; it lets you WFH a couple days a week. For a large corporate, the benefits package is pretty solid. Most of the time, I wasn't working crazy hours as a Supply Chain Analyst.
Cons: During peak seasons, especially in the agribusiness industry, the workload can get intense. Some teams just have way more demanding managers, which really impacts your work-life balance. It's not consistent across the board.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize expectations for workload across teams. Make sure managers aren't burning out their employees, especially during those busy periods. Invest more in modern tools to help manage tasks better.

Pros: Work-life balance here is pretty decent for a corporate role in agribusiness. I usually kept to 40-45 hour weeks in the St. Louis office, which is a big plus. The hybrid work arrangement helped a lot with personal appointments.
Cons: During peak seasons or commodity trading spikes, things could get really demanding. Sometimes, as a Logistics Coordinator, I felt overloaded with last-minute demands, which impacted my personal time. It wasn't uncommon for operations roles to have to put in extra hours.
Advice to Management: Focus on better staffing during peak agribusiness seasons to alleviate burnout for operations teams. Standardizing workloads for Logistics Coordinators could really help too.
