Marketing Coordinator

Good Hybrid Setup for Corporate Marketing
Pros: The hybrid work model is a big plus here. We get flexibility, which is great for work-life balance in the Paris office. Plus, the travel discounts across their hotel brands are a nice perk for anyone in the global hospitality industry.
Cons: Sometimes, especially during big campaign launches, the hours can get long. It's a large corporate, so project deadlines can be tough. For a Marketing Coordinator, career progression isn't always super clear either, which is a common issue.
Advice to Management: Keep promoting the hybrid options for corporate roles. Also, clarifying career paths for roles like Marketing Coordinator would really help with retention.

Hotel Operations Manager

Solid for management, tough for frontline.
Pros: As a Hotel Operations Manager, I had some say in my schedule, which helped manage my personal life. It's a great place to learn the ins and outs of the hotel industry. You get decent exposure to different facets of the business.
Cons: For many in guest services and front desk roles, work flexibility just isn't an option. It's almost always strict onsite work with fixed shifts. The corporate structure of a large hotel chain can feel pretty rigid sometimes.
Advice to Management: Try to find ways to offer more flexible scheduling or remote options for non-operations staff. Even small changes would help morale in our Paris locations and other European hotels.

Revenue Manager

Okay flexibility for Accor corporate employees
Pros: I've found the hybrid work setup pretty solid as a Revenue Manager. Getting a few days to work from home is a big plus. It's way better than what you'd find in direct hotel operations.
Cons: Still, full remote isn't really on the table. Some teams, especially in the Paris office, expect you in more often. It's tough when policies aren't consistent across this large corporate company.
Advice to Management: Consider standardizing hybrid policies across all corporate departments. This would create more consistency for employees.
