Okay flexibility, but not always practical

Pros: They say they offer flexible hours, which is nice on paper. Sometimes I could shift my start time by an hour as a Project Engineer. For corporate roles, there's a bit more WFH option, which helps with work-life balance for some folks.
Cons: Honestly, for my role, WFH was pretty rare because of the onsite nature of our engineering projects in Kuala Lumpur. Getting actual flexible hours approved felt like pulling teeth sometimes. It's tough when you need to be on-site for manufacturing operations or client meetings.
Advice to Management: Management needs to really look at how work flexibility applies across different departments. It's one thing to have a policy, it's another for it to be practical for all roles, especially for those managing site-based engineering projects. More understanding for Project Engineers who need to balance site visits with office work would be good. Show more

Solid Start, But Career Path Unclear

Pros: It's a decent place for a fresh graduate. You get a lot of practical experience working on various engineering projects in Kuala Lumpur. As a Junior Electrical Engineer, I learned quite a bit about site operations.
Cons: The biggest downside is career growth. There's not a clear path to move up, and it feels like you hit a ceiling pretty fast. They don't invest much in professional development for technical roles beyond the basics.
Advice to Management: Management needs to create clearer career progression plans, especially for the engineering staff. Investing in training and mentorship programs would really help retain talent and show there's a future here. Show more

Cons: Career growth feels really slow for these onsite project roles. Don't expect quick promotions or huge pay increases; advancement is pretty gradual. It can be tough to see a clear path forward sometimes.
