Stuck in a Loop: Limited Career Growth Here
Pros: The job security in the cargo and logistics industry is decent, and the pay is okay for the role. Colleagues are friendly, which makes the onsite work environment tolerable.
Cons: There's just no clear path for career advancement for a Logistics Coordinator. I haven't seen any real opportunities for promotion or professional development. It feels like you hit a ceiling pretty quickly here.
Advice to Management: Management needs to invest in clearer career paths and offer more training programs for employees. It would really help with retention and motivation if people felt they could grow beyond their initial roles within the company.

Pay's okay, but benefits are pretty solid
Pros: The health insurance package is actually quite good for Malaysia, and they do offer decent annual leave. As a Logistics Coordinator, the company covers my phone bill which is a small but nice perk for onsite work.
Cons: The base salary for freight forwarding isn't super competitive, especially in the Port Klang area. Raises are pretty rare, so it's tough to see real income growth in this supply chain role.
Advice to Management: Review salaries for core operations roles like Logistics Coordinators to stay competitive. Invest more in performance-based bonuses to motivate employees in the cargo industry.
