Decent Benefits, Pay Could Be Better
Pros: The benefits are a real plus here. Medical insurance is solid, and the 401k match is pretty good. Remote work flexibility is also great for employees working from home.
Cons: Base salary for a Research Analyst isn't super competitive. Raises don't always keep up with the IT industry. It's tough to feel valued sometimes.
Advice to Management: Review salary bands for entry and mid-level Research Analyst roles. Better compensation is key to attracting and retaining talent in the competitive IT industry.

Okay Benefits, Salary Could Be Better
Pros: The health benefits are actually pretty solid for a big tech research company. There's good medical coverage and the 401k match is decent after a year. For folks in our Framingham, MA office, the commute support is also a nice touch.
Cons: Base salaries for Market Research Analyst roles feel a bit low, especially compared to the broader tech industry. Raises aren't huge, so it's tough to keep up with inflation. Don't expect huge bonuses either.
Advice to Management: Review salary bands for all roles, especially for data analysis and market intelligence positions. Bring them closer to industry standards to retain talent.

Decent Hybrid Model, But Could Be Better
Pros: They do offer a hybrid work model, which is a plus for work-life balance. As a Market Research Analyst, I appreciate the ability to sometimes work remotely from Massachusetts. The WFH option is pretty solid when you can use it.
Cons: The 'flexibility' often means you still need to be in the Boston office 3 days a week. It feels like they're tracking office presence sometimes. It's not truly flexible for tech analyst roles, especially for deep-dive market intelligence work.
Advice to Management: Trust employees more with true remote options, especially for research roles. The 3-day office mandate feels a bit old school for a company in IT research. Let people manage their time better.
